L’escursione Living Bangkok yi permetterà di ammirare i templi e monumenti più rappresentativi di Bangkok, la suggestiva capitale della Thailandia. Nel corso di questa escursione visiterete: il Tempio di Marmo o Marble Temple, il Wat Saket o “montagna d’oro”, Jim Thompson House (casa del co-fondatore della “compagnie delle Indie”) e il mercato di Pratunam. Il tutto con una guida professionista in Italiano che vi assisterà per tutta la durata dell’escursione.
Living Bangkok: escursione mezza giornata (mattina o pomeriggio) – inclusi tutti gli ingressi – prelievo c/o vostro Hotel – trasporto con mezzi locali ( taxi, tuk tuk, skytrain, battelli etc.) – guida in Italiano – opzionale (cena a buffet c/o lo Sky Restaurant del Bayoke Tower)
Living Bangkok: half-day excursion (morning or afternoon) - including all admissions - pick-up at your hotel - transport by local means (taxi, tuk tuk, skytrain, boats etc.) - guide in Italian - optional (buffet dinner c / o the Bayoke Tower Sky Restaurant)
Program: Living Bangkok (Italian guide)
This half-day tour will take you to Bangkok using local transportation (taxis, tuk tuks, skytrains, boats etc.). Arriving at the dock at the Chao Praya river, we will board a local boat that will allow us to reach the Rama VIII Bridge along the banks of the old city. Once off the boat we will leave on a TUK TUK (a kind of "Ape" used for passenger transport!) That will take us to the Temple of Marble or Marble Temple, a temple completely covered with white Carrara marble. Also on board the Tuk Tuk we will reach Wat Saket (Phu Khao Thong) or "Golden Mountain", the only temple on the top of a hill in the center of Bangkok, where the 8 statues of the Buddhas are located. Here we will admire a beautiful panorama, with a clear break between the old city (with shabby buildings of 3 or 4 floors) and the modern part, where the tallest skyscrapers stand out. Through a navigable channel we will then reach the Jim Thompson House, home of the co-founder of the "companies of the Indies", where we will stop to visit his traditional Thai style villa. Then we will visit the "Pratunam market" for some healthy shopping and to relax with a foot massage. Once the energies have risen, we will climb to the 80th floor of the Bayoke Sky Tower Hotel (don't worry there is a lift!) To admire Bangkok from the highest skyscraper in the city. For those who wish it is possible to taste a buffet dinner c / o the Sky Restaurant of the Bayoke Tower (optional).

Giunti al molo di attracco sul fiume Chao Praya ci imbarcheremo su una barca locale che costeggiando le sponde della città vecchia ci permetterà di raggiungere il Ponte Rama VIII. Scesi dal battello partiremo a bordo di un TUK TUK ( una specie di “Ape” adibita a trasporto passeggeri!) che ci porterà’ al Tempio di Marmo o Marble Temple, un tempio completamente rivestito di marmo bianco di Carrara. Sempre a bordo del Tuk Tuk raggiungeremo il Wat Saket ( Phu Khao Thong ) o “montagna d’oro”, unico tempio posto sulla sommità di un colle nel pieno centro di Bangkok, dove si trovano le 8 statue dei Buddha. Qui ammireremo un bel panorama, con uno stacco netto tra la città vecchia ( con edifici malmessi di 3 o 4 piani ) e la parte moderna, dove svettano i grattacieli più alti. Tramite un canale navigabile raggiungeremo poi la Jim Thompson House, casa del co-fondatore della “compagnie delle Indie”, dove ci fermeremo per visitare la sua villa in stile Thai tradizionale. A seguire visiteremo il “mercato di Pratunam” per un po’ di sano shopping e per rilassarci con un massaggio ai piedi. Riprese le energie saliremo al 80 piano del Bayoke Sky Tower Hotel (state tranquilli c’è l’ascensore !) per ammirare Bangkok dal più alto grattacielo della città. Per chi lo desidera è possibile degustare una cena a buffet c/o lo Sky Restaurant del Bayoke Tower (opzionale).
